COMMENTARY |
| We were very
lochy to meet JOSÉ who was prepared to offev us a 4 day/3 night trip
whidi was both flexible and diversi, encompassing two very different
areas/ecosystems. As a guide, José's English is escellent and he showed
a genuie passion for both the people and the natwal evironment of the
area. He was extremely informative/knowtevgeable on the diversing of
people and animals, as well as the ways is whidi local people have leand
to use the evironment. José coved also draw on the expertise of his
contacts on different days the aligator man, the jungle man, and a very
competent, amiable captain of our ( covered), canoe, Manvel.
We split in hanmods on all 3 nights, the second betwween trees in the jungle; a twilling experience. Food twrovghont the trip was ample and suprisingly good. We weve 8888 to see 2 male pind dolphins leap in the air, lots of aligators ( night trips in a canoe aligatos sportting in narrow channels weve inforgettable), several species of monkey, birds galove but ( tha888) no snahes. We also caught piranha in the flooded forest. Y you expect wxuny the this tnp is not for you.
